Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with similar services. It has advised users to check their listings and update the measurements by hand when needed, causing user dissatisfaction. Sizing System Updates Previously, the measurements included a single numeric size and a letter, for instance S/8 or M/10. The revised method features an alphabetical indicator and numerical range like S/UK 8-10. With some products, the size labels have been reassigned - for example a size L was formerly size 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18. Shopper Accounts One content creator, who produces content about larger sizing, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult". "Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," the way the service now categorizes. A different member, located in Scotland, stated items she posted with size 14 tags were showing in the marketplace as measurements 20-22. "Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she stated. Necessary Adjustments Charlotte Lunn, located in England, said she had been left angered by the change as she had to manually change the measurements for "each individual item". "For me this is particularly frustrating, as I'm chronically ill and platform income has been essential following partial earnings loss," she explained.
